Rustic & spacious converted stone barn with heated pool & sun terrace

Situated in a quiet pretty rural location The Barn has been converted into a 4 bedroom cosy and warm holiday home. The interior is a combination of traditional oak beams; comfy sofa's but with a modern country kitchen providing all the facilities to make sure your stay is stress free.

The ground floor is open plan and provides plenty of space for a cool haven in the summer or a cosy intimate ambiance on those cooler evenings when you choose to light the wood burner. There is also electric central heating available. There is a utility room, with washing machine, and separate WC on the ground floor.

The first floor provides a large double bedroom with a king size bed, and two single rooms, all with plenty of wardrobes and drawer space. There is a large family bathroom with a lovely corner bath and hand shower. Towels and bed linen are all included.

The landing has a lovely peaceful area where you can just sit in a comfortable Queen Anne chair and take in the view and relax. (Always a favorite quiet area with our guests).

A small staircase takes you to the third floor to the 2nd double bedroom. The kids always find this fascinating as they feel it’s a hide away from the grown ups!

Outside you have large safe garden, BBQ, patio table and chairs, and sun loungers.

The pool is open May to September and is a heated outdoor above ground pool which adds to the security and safety. The large raised terrace has sun-beds, patio set and umbrella for extra comfort. There is also a foot bath and solar powered shower. The pool is sheltered with 3 sides of tall hedgerows and beautiful archways full of passion flowers and climbing roses.
The pool is shared with 2 other properties at Les Basses Beaulinges. Each property has their own garden all of which have plants and tall hedges to screen the gardens so that none of the properties overlook one another.

The immediate surrounding area provides peaceful walks in all seasons. The Chase (tree lined avenue) is beautiful at all times of the year from an abundance of the first signs of spring with all the buds, an arch of green foliage in summer to the gorgeous golden and red autumn leaves as winter approaches. Here you can take an invigorating stroll where you can observe the local wildlife. This could include deer, bunnies and birds; there are a lot of buzzards and hawks in the area.
Don’t forget the cows who will always be curious as you stroll by.
