No hot water

There was no hot water in the room, that's enough for 1 star. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is the front desk person was very nice, but unable to help us. She said the hotel must need a new pump and suggested that I turn on the sink to let it run for a while before showering - really.

Got the keys to our room went to look at it and it wasn't as advertised! Smelled like smoke and was dirty and outdated. 2 minutes into the room we left. My husband got a headache immediately! Went to the front desk and he said he couldn't cancel our reservations! We had to go to another hotel down the road.

Overall, the property was a great value for the cost. The room, front desk, and breakfast area were updated/remodled. You can tell they are still working on other areas in the building. Upon check in, the manager carried our lugage to our room upstairs, as there was no elevator. Great customer service! Staff was polite and professional.

Room was very clean but did not have carpeted floors…some kind of planked flooring and when you sat on bed a funny metal sound happened. Sheets were very nice and comfortable. Wish floor would have had carpet.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. It seemed safe and was quiet at night. The breakfast was limited - waffle maker didn't work properly, "hot breakfast" was biscuits and gravy, coffee dispenser was often empty. In general, the hotel is a bit run down but the price is reasonable for what it offers.

Hot tub was drained. Couch in our suite was completely broken could not even sit on it. I do like that there is no carpeting. I think that makes it look cleaner and a bit more modern. Hotel was pretty worn down
