Joan was very friendly in greeting us. Our room was a good size with a good ensuite (be careful of the very hot water from the sink tap), beautifully co-ordinated soft furnishings/pictures, lovely breakfast. A perfect stop for our NC500 trip.

The room was really nice, the bathroom big enough and with window and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! Everything was very clean. You can walk to the town centre within 10 min, this is also very good. We would stay here again.

This is a fabulous place. The host, Joan, is so helpful, giving us advice on transportation, walks, etc. The room was clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. The location is great and the walk from the train station was not strenuous for two 70 year olds with roller bags! Other reviews have mentioned the breakfast and we agree…wonderful! A warm Scottish welcome

Overly place up by the castle, steep walk from the station, well set back from the roof. Very comfortable spacious room and excellent breakfast including gluten-free for person with coeliac disease.
