Arrived at the hotel in the midst of a severe wind storm. The front desk staff were busy dealing with multiple issues including a new reservation system, but were polite and offered 2 drink vouchers to use while awaiting check-in. They were quickly able to get us checked in. Rooms were clean and comfortable with parking right outside the room. Beds were comfortable. Check out was simple. All staff were very accommodating and polite.

Rooms were in separate part of motel. Our travellers reported they were grimy and filthy with dishes left in the sink - disgusting was the word they used. Well below any acceptable standard or as advertised. The only saving grace was a comfortable bed and the sports bar. We will not be back.

This hotel is awesome! We received a free upgrade to a 1-bedroom apartment which was so lovely and such a nice surprise! The Emberz bar was great with delicious well-priced food. Our son loved the pool and sauna. We will definitely be back, thanks so much Ascot Hotel!

Make sure you get a room in the main building, it’s all a bit dated outside and the bar is a little old school…staff are excellent, room is great (outdoor sliders need to be binned) and good value. Ate in the bar, great staff and good value.

As the title says, we are staying in the Hotel, but actually it was the motel, which in actual fact was more convenient for us as it was easier to load and unload gear from the car without having to go through corridors and lifts. The rooms are old , but well kept, and the little kitchenet was very handy
