The hotel was in a great location, room was a good size, shower was wonderful and breakfast and dining room lovely. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Just wish the room wasn’t so noisy from the bar below. This may not apply to the entire property, but we were on the backside, room 48 and the 2 nights we were there, there was loud noise until 2 am from the hostel/bar below.

This hotel was a favorite on our trip through Austria. We had beautiful views of the river and town. Everything we wanted to do in Innsbruck was an easy walk. The room was air conditioned, the beds were comfortable, WiFi worked great, breakfast was amazing, staff was friendly and helpful.

Incredible. One of the most visible buildings in Innsbruck. Almost directly across from the main bridge to Old Town. This place has been in business (continuously, under the same name) since 1473. The wall next to the cafe area is original, with wooden pegs in place of nails. Amazing place, amazing location. Really nice and spacious room (for 4!) with great views. Fantastic breakfast. Overall 10/10. One of my favorite hotels anywhere.

What a beautiful hotel right in town along the river! Our room faced the river and we enjoyed the sounds of the rushing water and the people walking. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was delicious. My daughter’s room faced the back. Her room was of a modern flair and very well done. She was able to open up her windows and enjoy the sounds of the young people enjoying their drinks. I highly recommend this hotel.

Easily one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed at. Everything about Hotel Mondschein was incredible: rooms, staff, breakfast, showers and I can’t emphasize enough the comfort of their bed pillows. Everything was incredibly clean. It is in a prime location. Amazing price point. The people of Innsbruck are truly the best & the employees at this hotel are a perfect representation.

The only reason we didn’t give a 5-star rating was because of the lack of soundproofing from outside our room even though the windows were double glazed. This is understandable given how old the hotel is. The pillows also need a lot more “body” - folding mine in half actually helped. We loved the crystalline tiles in the bathroom with the lovely refraction or light. The staff were great.
