The main cabin features basic cooking facilities, including a gas cooktop and a small gas-operated fridge for your essentials. A BBQ is also provided for outdoor cooking. The spacious combined dining and living area opens to the outdoors through large barn doors, maximizing the rural environment. Downstairs accommodates four guests with a comfortable queen bed and two single beds.

The River Retreat is situated on the outskirts of Inglewood, just a five-minute drive from specialty shops, restaurants, cafes, and the local supermarket for your basic supplies. The charming rural town of Inglewood is nestled amidst the almost fluorescent greenness of the Taranaki pastureland, just below the forested fringe of Te Papa-Kura-o-Taranaki. The visitors center is a 10-minute drive away for those keen trampers, and it's only a 15-minute drive to New Plymouth.



Bookings that exceed 10 days will incur an extra mid-term cleaning and linen fee at cost to the guest every seven days.
