About this property
A-frame in Indian Lake+Pet Friendly+Lake Front
Welcome to your A-frame hideaway on the hill—tucked beneath the pines at Camp Chimney Mt. on Kings Flow Lake. Cozy, fully furnished, and designed for slowing down, this little cabin is the perfect basecamp for two. Fall asleep to the call of loons, wake to pine-scented breezes, and spend your days exploring the woods, lake, and mountain trails just outside your door.
Camp perks include private lakefront access, miles of hiking trails—including the famous Chimney Mountain trailhead just steps away—community fire pits, a Camp Store & Lounge with WiFi, and more stars than streetlights. Expect simple. Expect peaceful. Expect the kind of quiet that`s hard to find these days.
The Camp Experience
You`ve got full run of the camp—and we mean that in the best, barefoot, bug-spray kind of way.
Guests are welcome to hike the trails, roam the woods, and explore all 280+ acres. Enjoy direct access to Kings Flow Lake for swimming, paddling, fishing, or launching yourself off Rock Island like a local legend. Go ahead—make a splash.
Need a break from the trail? Stop by the Camp Store & Lounge, open 24/7 for WiFi, board games, snacks, or swapping stories with fellow adventurers.
Getting Here
Keep driving all the way to the end of Big Brook Road. When the pavement ends, don`t stop. Look up for a glimpse of Bullard`s Bluffs, then follow the dirt road until you reach the dam bridge and entrance gate.
Parking: When you get to the dam, just before the gate to your right, turn right in between the rocks and park just left past the rocks. There are parking signs for the A-frame. If your vehicle is suited for the terrain, you can drive across the dam and up the hill the second entry on your left, you will see a sign for the A-frame parking.
There`s a gate just past the dam to help keep the property private and peaceful for everyone. Please open it, drive through, and close it behind you like a true camp regular.
Guest Access & Interaction
Self-check-in makes arriving easy, so you can settle in on your own schedule. We live on the property and are available whenever needed—just send a text or give us a call. We`re happy to help, but we`ll also give you all the space you need to enjoy your mountain escape.
Our Camp Store & Lounge is the heart of Camp Chimney Mountain, a warm and welcoming space where guests can gather, relax, and recharge between adventures. It's an ideal home base for those staying in our timber tents, A-Frame, camper, or cabins, with comfortable seating, games, and a place to unwind after a day on the trails or lake. While you're there, browse our collection of Camp Chimney Mountain memorabilia and apparel, or stock up on snacks, drinks, firewood, ice, and other camp essentials before heading back out to make more memories.
