Relaxing and elegant large home in a historic downtown. Originally built in 1908, the Cooperhouse is one of the original homes built in town, by one of the founding members of the city JR Cooper. The Cooperhouse spans an 3000 sq ft. of space available for guests to enjoy maybe a weekend getaway or stay longer to enjoy the surrounding vineyards, eateries, and entertainment. The Cooperhouse is central to many events that occur throughout the Willamette Valley. Excellence Awaits you. 3000 sq ft. of space is available for rent. The property has incredible yard, filled with roses, cala lilies and many other beautiful flowers to enjoy an evening BBQing, or relaxing in the sunshine. Each of the bedrooms is designed to maximize the space available and create a unique stay for all our guests. The Cooperhouse has elegance, class and is perfect for a weekend getaway with friends or family. You could even stay longer at the Cooperhouse as a home base, while you explore all the local events, eateries and entertainment. We are located in Downtown Independence steps away from great eateries/restaurants and entertainment (live music) and large seasonal festivals! Don't forget the Willamette River is 100 yards away, where you can enjoy seasonal water activities. We enjoy welcoming all our guests, upon check-in to ensure the stay is as comfortable as possible. We are available by phone/text after check-in, for any questions that may arise during your stay. We like to provide choices for our guests while they stay. We have recently partnered for breakfast options are being provided by a local restaurant partner that is 150 steps down the block from the property! More details will be provided on menu choices after you book your stay!
