Perfect hideaway in Tuscany

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful cottage, which has been lovingly built and maintained by Carlo. It is close enough to Florence for easy day trips - a car is recommended for convenient access to the property, but there is ample free parking in a nearby town to head downtown by bus. Accommodations were very comfortable, we made good use of the fridge and convection cooktop, and the views are unmatched. Carlo was kind and quick to respond with any questions we had. Pro tip for those not used to driving in rural Italy - take it slow around the corners and be ready to pull off or back up if someone is coming the other direction! Roads in the area are narrow but in good condition. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area by car, especially with convenient access to the A1.

Relaxing stay

Very picturesque cottage in the countryside. Not too far from Florence but hard to navigate without a car. Owner was very kind and helpful and even gave us a ride to the train station at the end of our stay.

Immersion en pleine campagne toscane

Très belle petite maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût nichée au coeur de la campagne toscane. La ville de Florence est accessible en bus en garant la voiture dans une ville toute proche. Logement petit mais confortable et climatisé. Tout le nécessaire y est ! Merci Carlo

Wunderschönes Häuschen und freundliche Gastgeber

Das Haus ist ein Unikat und sehr schön anzusehen. Die Einrichtung ist ebenfalls mit allem nötigen ausgestattet und ermöglicht ein angenehmes Ausspannen nach einem Ausflug. Auch die Lage ist perfekt gelegen auf Carlos Landsitz. Die Aussicht auf die wunderbare Toskanische Landschaft ist atemberaubend und dem Sonnenuntergang zuzusehen ist ein Muss! Auf dem Landsitz befinden sich noch 3 Hunde, Katzen und einige Hühner, wobei die beiden Hundedamen, welche wir bei unserem Aufenthalt sehen konnten, sehr verschmust und anhänglich waren. Auch unser Hund hatte eine wunderbare Zeit. Das Haus ist ein wenig abgelegen somit hatte er seine "eigene" Spielwiese. Die Kommunikation mit Carlo klappte ebenfalls super! Leider ist unser italienisch nicht gut genug damit wir mit ihm und seiner Frau Barbara Geschichten austauschen konnten, was wir ein wenig bedauern, jedoch konnten wir uns mithilfe von Übersetzern dennoch verständigen und einige Erzählungen teilen. Alles in allem war unsere Kurzaufenthalt ein voller Erfolg und wir konnten unsere Batterien wieder aufladen. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Küche, da es nur eine Herdplatte gibt kann kein aufwändiges Menü gekocht werden. Dies sollte bei der Vielzahl von Restaurants in der Umgebung jedoch nicht allzu sehr ins Gewicht fallen. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!
