We have stayed at the Sawmills many times and keep coming back. It is in a beautiful location with great walks on the doorstep, the rooms are super comfy and it is great that there are dog friendly rooms. The breakfast is out of this world as are the Sunday lunches. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We’ll be back soon!

Really friendly staff and excellent food. Great location. Well stocked bar with plenty of choice, seating inside and out. Room was spacious but could have been cleaner, there were bits on the floor that made their way onto the pillows then the bed, hairs on the toilet and no soap in the container in the shower. Would definitely go back if ever in the area again.

Highly recommend. Room was a good size and nicely presented. It is literally above the pub but has it's own entrance and it's not a noisy pub. The breakfast is downstairs in the pub and was very good, cooked to order. We would have happily eaten in the pub in the evening as well, if we weren't out exploring. Idillic location next to the stream with outside seating for a drink in the evening.
