Breakfast was delicious. My room was near the stairs doorway and lift so unfortunately it was noisy but the room was spotless and the bed comfy. It was very hot in the room but keeping the window open helped. The reception staff and night porter were first class.

The Carlton Hotel is our favorite spot to stay in Ilfracombe. The location is good, being on same level as the harbour for easy walking, and with it's own parking area. The rooms are always spotless and extremely well maintained and the staff are very frindly and helpful.
