The kitchen and bathroom were outdated. Lots of bugs on porch that were coming into room and vent in bathroom. Mattresses to twin beds pushed into one were very hard. Pool was very clean. Plenty of parking across busy street onto beach. Staff was nice.

Amazing views. Beds were rock hard, showers were old and not convenient, but the pool was nice, very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely place outside of town.

Hidden gem.

No words can truly describe this hotel except amazing! The room was beautiful and peaceful. The grounds were stunning. Kuria Mina was an exceptional hostess and very accommodating to her guests' needs. Not to mention a complimentary shot of Raki, a traditional local drink. We will definitely recommend this hidden gem to all our fellow travelers visiting the area!

This hotel is just outside of the village of Mytros but only 5 minutes to drive in. We chose this hotel as it was convenient and close by with great parking it has a decent size swimming pool and nice outside space the rooms were well maintained and clean you can self cater should you wish. The beach is just over the road with sunbeds.

I stayed 1 night at the Sarikampos Beach resort. The GPS took me directly there, and there’s a large parking lot just across, along the beach. The hotel and the surroundings are very quiet and safe. There’s a nice sitting area by the reception and a library. Nina cooked a delightful breakfast . I highly recommend this very sweet hotel.

Long review, but honest. The room: It had a great view, opening the balcony doors to look out at endless ocean was great, but the rest was basic at best. Kitchen window had Velcro strips to keep it in place, cooking utensils are lacking if you intend to use the space as a self catering set-up, bed was uncomfortable, generally rough around the edges but a nice spot for a couple of days. Booked 7 nights. Arrived late - long drive to Sarikampos. Contacted Mina by email we’d arrive at 2am. Ok’d. 2am- no sign of life so waited silently, noticed a sign with contact info; after 30mins we decided to sleep in the car. Not a great start! At 7am, we approached and were greeted warmly and explained we’d been charged twice after booking glitch; booked flights hotel, but only charged for hotel, so cancelled straight away booked flights and hotel. Cancellation done, with a msg sent to Sarikampos/Expedia. Expedia and Sarikampos blamed each other but not entirely sure that either party communicated as both were extremely vague. Mina’s resolution was that we could stay for another 3 nights, but, of course nobody books with extra days; perhaps a shallow offering. Explanation offered for decline of refund was all rooms were full and they had lost money which I totally understand. However, we know FOR A FACT the room we were ALSO allocated AND PAID FOR was occupied. It felt a little Greedy at this point so we decided to move on. Thanks for reading if you made it to the end :)

Great little hotel opposite a quiet pebble beach. You need a car to get into the main village as too far too walk on a maon road with no pavements.

Nice hotel on beach

This is a lovely hotel by a beautiful cobble beach, about 20 minutes drive west of Hierapetra. The building and furnishings are showing a bit of age, but everything works well, and the price is great value. Our suite was commodious and very pleasant, with a splendid view of the nice pool, beach and mountains from a large balcony. Parking is easy, across the street, by the beach. Nice pool. The family owner/operators welcome everyone like long-lost friends and provide a warm atmosphere. Very quiet location. I would definitely come back here.

George and his parents were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean and modern. The bed was a little on the hard side, but e everywhere we went in Crete We found this to be true. Plenty of hot water, which felt great on our sore muscles. I would stay here again.

Very friendly staff and spot on room

We arrived late and had only one night stay. The lady (I think owner) gave us a very warm welcome. Room was very nice, spacious and clean. Highlight of the stay was breakfast. We had breakfast outside in the sun and it was brought to us. There were good selection of items, bread, cake, juice, coffee, yoghurt, fruit, eggs etc. For 6 euros I think it was really. They don't have restaurant but I have been told owner can make dinner on request (obviously for a charge). Next time if I ever go there I will try her food.

Sarikampos Beach, southern and pleasant Crete

Felt like home, as it is used to stay. Except home doesn't have rooms with view to the sea. :) The place is in a good position, allowing one to explore the south-eastern beaches. Very close to Mirtos: nice hippie - style settlement with many taverns and a pleasant beach. Not too commercial or noisy, no clubs, sophisticated restaurants or big hotels, just a good place for those looking for a quiet vacation. The hotel has a pool, a nice terrace, many rooms with view to the sea ( do not know if all...). Perfectly clean, run by the energetic Mrs. Mina and her husband, with the help of quiet but hardworking Albina. Mina cooks really good food, the "home-cooked" kind, without a menu a la carte, but better than many restaurants. Bravo, Mina. And thank you.

Wir hatten 2 Studios der gleichen Kategorie mit Meerblick gebucht . Beim Check - In bekamen ein Zimmer der gebuchten Kategorie und 1 „ Katzenzimmer „ ohne Blick ( dunkel , unangenehm riechend , zu ebener Erde ). Auf Nachfrage bekamen wir dann die gebuchte Kategorie. Beim Check - Out wurde uns dann gesagt , dass wir bessere Zimmer bekommen hätten , als gebucht. Dies stimmte leider nicht . Es fehlt in der Beschreibung des Hotels, dass zwischen Strand & Hotel die Hauptstraße verläuft, die extrem laut ist und wo nur zwischen Mitternacht & morgens 6 Uhr wenig Fahrzeuge vorbeiRAUSCHEN.

Un agréable séjour à 2km de Myrtos

Chambre studio confortable avec vue sur mer et beau jardin. Piscine de belle taille. Accueil souriant. Petite plage de l'autre côté de la route qui passe juste devant l'hôtel (un peu bruyante mais peu de circulation la nuit)
