Icod de los Vinos, in northwest Tenerife, is famous for its roughly 800-year-old Drago Milenario, a national monument, and the Cueva del Viento, a large lava tube.
Overlooking the sea, the white, stone-inlaid holiday home "Casa Pedro" was built at the beginning of the century in traditional island style.
This rustic 150 m² house has a spacious living/dining room with a wood-burning stove and a kitchen with a hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and fridge-freezer. Each of its 4 bedrooms has a double bed and an open wardrobe; two have en-suite bathrooms. There is also a full bathroom with a shower and a guest toilet. The house sleeps 8. Wooden ceilings, exposed beams, decorative tiles and natural stone exude authentic Canarian charm.
Wi-Fi, a washing machine, games and heating are provided, with a cot and high chair on request.
The secluded, walled outdoor area has greenery, a terrace, barbecue and a private pool sheltered from the sea breeze, with shade and sun loungers in the sun. Upstairs, a sunny terrace offers panoramic views, sun loungers, tables and chairs for reading or enjoying a snack at sunset. Depending on the season, every guest can find a spot in the sun or shade.
