Quiet and clean room with comfortable beds. Location is close to market. Onsite parking is free and secure. Staff speak very little English. Bring a paper copy of your confirmation as they had troubles locating our reservation. Free breakfast was at neighboring restaurant - you get the basic American option (eggs, toast, etc.).

I loved the rustic style woodwork, bright colors of the walls, authentic decor, natural lighting, and comfortable rooms and common areas. Staff were very nice, helpful, friendly. Towels were worn out but condition of all else was excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay in Otavalo. The decoration in the hostal is really pretty, we liked it, our room was cosy. The personal were always available and helpful. Food was really good.
