All in all, a very good experience, staying at the Vivanta Hyderabad. Chef Akshaya was outstanding and gave us an extraordinary Thai meal at the Thai Pavilion. My complements to him. The housekeeping staff particularly, Sai Rani, Sourabh and Zaheer were very good in their work and kept us well stocked and the room clean. Anirban in the restaurant was always on his feet, trying to help.

We stayed for 3 nights and just a day before our last night of stay, we told the reception folks that we would like to extend the day by a day and sought the confirmation which the manager promised to get back at the earliest. And the next day morning we were expelled saying the hotel is fully booked and no rooms available. Had they told the same a day before, we could have arranged alternative accommodations. So, we had to pack leave the hotel in hurry. I would never expect any such ill treatment of guests from such a brand which is so popular for ‘trust’. Seems like it is just namesake and propaganda but at the core I see hardly any compassion for the guests. Plus, the reception desk is full of invoice team that they don’t even know how to talk to the guests and address their concerns. They should have a professional team like nearby Marriott and ITC Kakatiya hotels do have. All in all, it is not worth hospitality to remember and consider this hotel for future stays. Very disappointed.
