The room was good, but the overnight staff was pretty awful. From the time we arrived back from going out the staff saw us pull up and ran off, then when we went to ask for my towels for the jacuzzi tub instead of asking what we needed he snapped at us and barked you better not be going to the pool. We obviously said no and that we needed towels and he snapped back well what towels do you want! Kinda of stunned we just said towels and scurried out of the lobby - yes I understand it was super late but still. Then we decided to go run around in the snow and he came outside and threatened to “eject” us from the hotel! He straight up yelled at us outside. I would not recommend this hotel because of that. When you are on vacation you should be able to have fun, not get yelled up by rude staff. No patron complained about us - as far as we know - received no warnings, no call to our room. Just a threat to eject us and call the police. On a positive note, the evening staff was incredibly nice.

Very nice staff. Lots of variety at breakfast - fruit available (thank you!). Breakfast area kept very tidy. Ask for hot chocolate packets at front desk. Hot tub and sauna were not working which was disappointing since we were visiting area for a long weekend to XC ski. Cleaning staff very noisy in hallways by 8am. Looked like they were doing a deep clean of carpets and mattresses which is great. However, there was not daily housekeeping, in fact they never once came to clean our room. We had to ask for fresh towels our third day in. For the actual weekend a high school XC ski team came to stay, a large group of teens and parents. The teens “played” and talked in the hallways. The adults too socialized in the hallways near the common room and entrance to the pool. They set up their ski waxing equipment in the stairwell. As a fellow skier I want to be supportive, however as another guest at the hotel it made it hard to function.

Was a good place to stay, last time we were in however the hottub was out of order and they did not inform us of this before check-in. That was really the only disappointment. Breakfasts were excellent for a Hotel style free breakfast. Room was clean and our stay was quiet.

I chose this hotel because my family were going to the porcupine mountain state park, we stayed this hotel for one night, when i reviewed the hotel online, i see they have hot tub and pool, but after we checked on and went to the pool, first of all, the hot tub is out of order, upset, after we swim for a while, we feel cold, hopping to enjoy in sauna room, BUT its not working either, trying to inform the front desk, was told, he couldn't do anything....very easily to tell, he didn't even wat to try to help. Will never go back to this hotel, there are so many choices in the area, and will not recommend it to anyone.

This is an older facility. However it is well maintained, clean and odor free.
