We booked for 3 nights and plans changed and we only stayed for 2 nights. We could not get a refund because we booked on Expedia which I fully understand so next time we probably won't book through Expedia. The staff was very friendly, the equipment in the workout room is nice and new, the inside and outside of the hotel was nice, new and well kept. I did not complain and maybe I should have, but the reason for the 2 on cleanliness is because there was a brush left on the bottom shelf in the bathroom from a previous guest, 2 boxes- each with 1 cigarette in them hidden in the saucepan in the kitchen and before we left I checked under the bed to make sure we didn't leave anything behind and I found that there was a lot of other stuff from previous guests that was left behind. It looked like a couple of plastic baby bottle caps, a sock and some dust and other small stuff. That is something that was probably overlooked by accident but just wanted to mention it.

Clean room, but the blinds didn’t work, the water pressure was not great, other than those two main things, everything else was great. Staff is so friendly and welcoming and made me feel comfortable as a solo traveler. As one of the employees said they try to make our stay headache free and she was right.

Front desk staff is very unprofessional and was never at the desk. The room was decent but had a broken drawer handle and one of the doors in the hotel hallway looked like it had been kicked in. I would avoid this hotel. It "looks" nice, but feels opposite in real life. The only good thing is the location in relation to shops or food. But there are way better options for a little more money.

Arrived at hotel at 5 pm. Could not check in because our room wasn’t ready. While talking to the receptionist I realized the Alabama football game in the lobby was more important to her than the situation at hand. That my room wasn’t ready at 5. Finally at 5:51 we were able to get our room. We were not the only guest waiting for a room.

Water Issues

Old food in my refrigerator. Then I did not have warm water to shower for several hours. It was during the middle of the day so I do think the maintenance staff tried the best they could to effect the least amount of guest, unfortunately I was one of them. But it was still very inconvenient to not be able to shower and when I asked for a refund for that night so I could go get a room that had water, I was told that they would have to get back with me but never heard anything else. Room is a sweet set up though
