I was attending a seminar in the area and was looking for a reasonably priced B&B in the Huntington area. As normal, I checked out the previous reviews before booking it which had a bearing on my decision to proceed. However, on arrival, I found the room to be quite grubby and overall would really benefit from a refresh. Also, be aware of the check-in time, I arrived about 16.30 only to be told that check-in was 18.00 which in fairness was on the advert but I never noticed it so my error. Nevertheless, in this instance, this is not somewhere I would choose to stay again
Lovely traditional public house with great local atmosphere and very nice food. The ham and eggs comes highly recomended. Fantastic host nice stop over for the night on buisness.
Chose to stay at the Prince of Wales as it was close to my appointment for the next morning and had very good reviews. Great pub and a lively vide for a wednesday evening. The landlord couldn't have been more helpful, fixing me up with a meal desptite my arriving over half an hour after the kitchen had closed. Great breakfast. I would recommend highly.
A country inn, good food bedrooms clean and comfy and Simon a good host

The.pup was brilliant food good onwners nice bed comfortable but the let down was the dirty shower and the dust all over even on top of the kettle cobwebs across the TV etcno effort of cleaning at all
5 night stay here on a recent work trip. Rooms was fine, bed was comfortable and quiet .
Ate in the pub most nights, really nice food. Simon the landlord was very friendly and helpful. As I was leaving early each day he packed me a little breakfast to take with me which was a very nice touch.
I'll definitely stay here again
Doesn't open till 6.00pm even though it is a village pub on a through road. Missing a trick I think although landlord was very friendly and room and breakfast was very good.
The publican was superb. I was able to get an evening meal quickly that had not been pre booked. Both meals were served outside as I requested. I was able to have an early start . All was served jovially and with respect. An absolute joy of a stay.
