We stay here several times a year when visiting family and it has a great location by the marina and old town. Always friendly staff here to help and a bonus is that it's also pet-friendly. Starting to look a little faded in places, but in the main it's still good.

The property is in need of a refurb as it is looking tired in places. Staff were helpful and polite. Outside seating was insuficient on this sunny weekend. Cooked breakfast was good but the continental (cheese & ham etc) was woefully poor. In the light of recent events the security was bad, entry to the rooms via lift and stairs was not controlled in any way so anyone could walk in off the street and have access. Location, location, location is the big plus for this hotel all in all a very enjoyable stay.
