Lovely and quiet hotel within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. You enter with key codes like an AirBnB, no need to wait to check in. There’s a nice coffee area setup on each floor, and the bed was comfortable.

This was a wonderful hotel. Other than housekeeping, there was no staff on premises, but that was not an issue. Key codes were provided for entry into the building and hotel room. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location was also very convenient to accessing the shopping & dining withing walking distance. I enjoyed my stay.

This hotel is a terrific value for the price! Our room was exceptional - clean, spacious, well-decorated, great ambience. The building is also ideally situated right in town, within easy walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. The only slight downside, if any, is the self-check-in - there's no front desk reception - but we didn't find it to be much of an inconvenience. A friendly manager/ staff person was around to answer our questions. Overall, we had no complaints and a very pleasant stay at the Howard.

Nicely styled self-serve hotel; comfortable and quite cool. Unfortunately, the hotel also hosted a man who, around 2:00 am, used the lobby space for a (loud)- Spanish? Italian? - video call for a trans-atlantic meeting. Very loud for about 30 minutes or more; when I asked him to take his call outside, he told me he was almost finished and then continued his conversation for another 10 or 15 minutes, Not the hotel's fault, but it will be a lasting memory of my night in Hudson.
