This place was literally dirty. Chunky rugs that clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in who knows how long, the toilet in our room was not clean, the breakfast area featured old dry donuts from Kwik Trip and a rotting apple with fruit flies. This place is very clearly struggling. I feel bad for them but they need to clean their dang hotel or they’re going to get shut down.

Negatuves: The reception area and our room, had a funny smell. The bed looked like soneone sat on it after it was made. The toilet was loose on the floor. The bathtub had something black stuck to the corner. There wasn't a coffee pot in the room. Positives: The bed was very comfortable.

Rooms where clean with clean towels. No plastic cups in room. Hot tub out of service. Staff was only at desk when we checked in. Never really saw anyone again. Breakfast area for breakfast: no waffle mix to make waffles. Coffee was gritty. In mini refrigerator was milk, loaf of bread and donuts. It was a quiet stay. Thank goodness for this awesome restraunt next door. Not Just A Café to get great food.

The room had old decor that had dried grasses that dropped onto the bed and headboard. Everything was dusty. The "breakfast" was in a closed off room with wet carpet and fruit flies. Sugar was crusted onto the jar and would not come out. I just gave up and spilled it out. New management would be good to keep the place clean as staff just sits on couch in front of TV. They could also make simple repairs. We wont be back. Unfortunately. *note: When we were checking out, there was one young staff that was very friendly that may have been housekeeping. So not all was terrible.

It is unlikely that we will return.

Room was musty, sheets and pillow cases were stained, and seemed dirty and we saw bed bugs in the bed. Also front doors were very dirty, parking lot was in bad shape, and ceiling of outdoor car port was missing panels and was in in generally poor condition. We were only there for approximately 15 minutes. On top of all this, the rate was not that reasonable either.

Room was extremely dirty. Tons of dust and con webs all over the room. Toilet was dirty too. “Streaks” in the bowl and. Dirty seat. The shampoo and conditioner was also used. Could clearly see they were partly empty. I have a few pictures of the room, but can’t post them.

The people who worked there were great and the pool was immaculate and really warm (the hot tub had half the jets out but the ones that worked worked well. The balcony and view were lovely. The location was convenient. The bathroom was clean. The fish tank gorgeous. But this is why I’m doing this review, as it was not safe for little kids ( I had a 20 month and 7 year old grandchildren). The door between the next room couldn’t be locked and my granddaughter kept going in there. They finally found the key to lock it but keeping her away in the meantime was tough). The bolt on the main door was not on well and we had to jam coolers and suitcases up against it so my granddaughter didn’t break it outright. It was pulling off. Half the breakfast stuff was not set up or working. The creamer for the coffee was spoiled and lumpy and had to be thrown out. The juice machines didn’t work. There was a questionable stain that looked biological on the room carpet. When we asked for help they helped where they could, but did not offer a room with a working bolt. And most concerning of all, when my daughter had to go back because she left something in the room, they just said take any key… they will work. I know mine stopped working and had to be replaced the next morning but she was pretty freaked out that it was that non secure that anyone could go in. So I promised her I would do a review in case anyone is traveling with small children, who need a heads up. Sorry.
