Welcome to Mariners Way, Unit 70!



(This Unit IS NOT located at the Pointe)



Located at Mariners Village, inside of Mariners Landing Subdivision! This 2BR, 2BA, 1,230 SF Condo, has everything you need for your next stay at Smith Mountain Lake! This suite is connected to an adjoining condo via a secure double-door lock-off system, with locks on both sides. This unit is located on the bottom floor of the building. To enter, you must go down a flight of stairs.



The primary bedroom offers a king size bed. The second bedroom offers a double size bed as well as a twin over full size set of bunkbeds. Condo includes wi-fi and cable tv.



The Kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. It's equipped with dishware, utensils, appliances, etc. Included in the kitchen: coffee, dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, and dishwasher pods.



All linens are included in the rental. You'll just need to bring your beach towels for the pools. We also provide some small toiletries for your convenience.



There's a full-size washer/dryer in the unit. Laundry detergent is not included.



Condo has both an open air and screened in patio. Unit DOES NOT have a lake view, even though the building is waterfront.

The Village rooms were perfect for 6 adults

The condo itself wasn’t bad, but overall it didn’t quite meet our expectations, mainly because of the location and layout. The listing gave us the impression that the property was closer to the marina and main lake area than it actually is. It is not within reasonable walking distance of the marina, and there is no view of the main lake from the property, which was disappointing since those were important factors in choosing where to stay.The property is also essentially a duplex, with the main living spaces separated by two sets of double doors. Those doors provide very little sound insulation, so conversations, TVs, and normal activity from the adjoining unit are easily audible. This made the space feel less private than we expected.Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay and the condo itself was adequate, but I would describe it as average. If being close to the marina, having a lake view, or having a quiet and private space are priorities, I would keep those points in mind when booking.

Stains, mildew, and nails

We have our boat at Mariner’s therefore we have stayed at many of the places there. This one was the worst one so far! Besides being located in the bottom floor we walked into a musty smelly condo. There are stains all over the carpet and sofas. The kitchen appliances were old and the oven was not clean on the inside. The pots and pans were greasy and dirty in the cupboards. To top it all off the carpet that end, right before the kitchen, had exposed nails and two of us hurt our feet on them. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the bunk beds made noises when slept on. Before leaving I turned on the dishwasher and it started leaking water. I wish I had one nice thing to say but can’t think of anything.
