Better places for the money

Staff were very nice, good gym but room was poor for £80. Very old, heating on at full blast and window small. Room was next to generator therefore very noisy. Bed was very comfortable. Food was ok.

The room was so hot that I could not sleep and had to walk outside the hotel to cool down. The shower was narrow and wet the bathroom floor. The phone never worked in the room. There were limited (2) electrical outlets. Maid service was limited. These issues were raised multiple times with the staff and the manager and I got the feeling that they tried to fix the issues, but the heating was a design flaw in the [obviously] old heating system. Most of the 3rd floor occupants had the same issues. I will not stay here again and will not recommend it to anyone. Finally, the PAID parking spaces were narrow and there were hardly enough of them!

Stayed for one night after attending a family wedding in Halifax. Great location - well connected to the motorway network. TBH I wasn't expecting much for the price we paid for the rooms but I was very pleasantly surprised. Our room was very clean & spacious. The bed was large and exceptionally comfortable. The en-suite looked like it had been recently refurbished with quality units. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a great nights sleep and a really nice buffet breakfast to set us up the next day. Lots of choice and all delicious! What more can you ask for? Will definitely stay again if I need accommodation in or around Huddersfield! Thank you Cedar Court!

Everything was excellent except the breakfast was poor over cooked and luke warm. Checkout wasn’t very good which unfortunately let down what was initially a very good experience.
