Each room is perfectly curated with all amenities to make the stay comfortable, even including a Roku, welcome scones, and white noise machine. The ambience is perfect due to the kind hotel staff and picturesque decor. A true oasis in the middle of bustling Houston!

Excellent excellent excellent. Every employee at The Marlene was so kind, so helpful, and so generous. We chose The Marlene to stay while we were in town for two days during our son's surgery, and it was perfect. They greeted our son by name when we arrived and were always checking in on how he was doing. We stayed in the Cottage and loved it. It felt like the property was ours. We cannot wait to go back for another stay or visit to Bar Madonna. We are absolutely in love with The Marlene Inn.

Lovely Inn just west of downtown located near so many bars and restaurants. Rooms were fantastic and my bed was so comfortable. I stayed in one of the downstairs carriage house rooms and it was comfortable, with a great bathroom, and beautiful furnishings. Enjoyed my stay and will stay again on my next trip to Houston. Staff is outstanding and the main house is gorgeous. Enjoyed the Bar Madonna and enjoyed the included breakfast. Highly recommend.
