Stayed at La Quinta in Houston and had a mixed experience. The room itself was fine, but housekeeping was a bit lacking. After a long day out, we came back expecting the room to at least be made, but it hadn’t been touched. I didn’t necessarily need fresh sheets every day, but it would have been nice if the bed had been made and the room straightened up. We also had to keep asking for towels, which became frustrating. It’s the little things that make a stay more comfortable, and unfortunately those details were missed during our visit.

There was paint spatter all over the carpets and floors. It made the floors look filthy. There was trash and linens left in the hallways outside of rooms during the entire weekend. There were no pool towels and when I asked for some, I was ignored. Also, there was some loud motor or fan of some sort that went off every hour. Made it almost impossible to sleep. I will NOT be going back.

Smelled like pot on certain floors. One room smelled like dog. Thin covers and loud next to highway. Very nice staff who goes above and beyond. They will change floorimg so that will help. Walls are thin. Pricey for the quality.

There was paint or stains everywhere. The hot tub and bar were closed. There weren’t blankets on the beds. We had to ask for blankets. We booked the room for 4 people and only got 2 towels. The staff was rude. We were called at 6:30pm to tell us to be quiet but we weren’t being loud.
