Roach-Filled Retreat
First off, contacting Xavier at all during our stay was like pulling teeth as he took HOURS to reply to my texts/calls. After he gave us an apartment tour, my guest saw the LARGE roach baits/traps that were on the countertops and the raid can under the sink.Almost immediately after we had to kill a roach in the kitchen (which I have pics of).We were ready to leave then, but unfortunately the trip was non-refundable.I could've complained about this but I didn't, because I thought Xavier was nice and didn't want to cause any issues..HUGE mistake.Not only were there more roaches, there was dog fur on the couch, the bed had some weird dirty feather on it, there was barely any hand soap in the bathroom, there was a dead roach by the pots and pans, a stained rug, and an apartment office worker knocked on our door randomly.Also, his can opener was VERY rusty, I had to request that he get a new one.He asked if I could wait 45 mins/1 hour to have it delivered, and I said it was ok.Well 45 mins became 3 hours, then he asked if I could meet the delivery driver.I was annoyed by this but didn't say anything because I did not want to cause any tension.I was instructed by Xavier to meet the delivery man in the VERY dim and creepy stairwell, which I was definitely uncomfortable with.Due to these issues,I asked for a discount towards extending my stay, to which he declined.He also lied and claimed someone had booked for the exact days we needed.I would NEVER recommend for anyone to stay here.
