When I got there, they didn't have my reservation because hotels.com canceled it, without providing me a cancelation confirmation or details - hotels.com still showed me as confirmed. The front desk man was VERY kind and helped me rebook at the same rate, and took extra care. However, the area has really gone downhill, the hotel was NOT well maintained, there were leaks and items unavailable in the room that are normally fully stocked at a doubletree (paper towels, toilet paper, rags, soap, etc). The room service (although way overpriced) was excellent, and at check out when I alerted the front desk that I never received my room service coffee from that day, removed the charge, as well as an accidental double parking charge. All to say - the staff was super accommodating and kind, but the room, amenities and safety in the area, left a lot to be desired.
