First of all, I didn’t realize we were staying at a low budget casino. We were met with armed security guards at the door, and what appeared to be, “working girls” in the lobby (based on how they were dressed.) The hotel smelled like old carpet. Our bathroom was not clean. We found hair in the tub. After we complained, a lady from housekeeping came in, but there was a language barrier, so she did not understand our complaint. She just wiped around the floor. We called her back and pointed to the hair in the tub. She finally cleaned the tub (thank goodness!) The bed sheets looked like someone had already slept on them, so we asked for new sheets and had to put them on ourselves. If we weren’t so tired from the drive to Houston, we would’ve asked to cancel the room. Other than the nice people at the front desk, This was not a very good experience.
