We had a great stay overall and Miguel was an awesome host. He was extremely helpful with recommendations for local spots, which we really appreciated since it was our first time visiting the Houston area. The check-in process was seamless and the apartment itself was very clean and comfortable. It also stayed nice and cool despite the hot weather, which was a huge plus.A couple things to note for future guests. The apartment is located within a building that also houses two other businesses which we were made fully aware of by the host. However, during business hours, you can hear quite a bit of noise, including conversations and footsteps from the sides and above. It wasn’t something we were expecting, but it did quiet down once the businesses closed. Just something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a completely quiet daytime stay.The listing mentioned laundry on site, which we assumed would be in the unit, but it’s actually shared. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to use it during our stay as it was consistently occupied, likely by the other businesses, and items were often left in overnight.Also worth mentioning, there is only one window in the entire apartment and it's located in the bedroom. None in the main living space, which felt a little unusual.That said, the apartment itself was very clean, well-kept, and Miguel truly made the experience a positive one. Overall, a great stay with a very attentive host.
