The reason for the low rating was due to not getting the room type that I originally booked for because they overbooked. I have booked for a 2-bedroom suite but upon checking in, they told me that they no longer have the room type so they downgraded me and my family to a suite with two queen beds. I understand it is still a nice room but I didn’t get the refund from booking a pricier room. The front desk told me to contact hotel.com as the reservation was not booked directly from the hotel. I find this situation unfair and unreasonable. The hotel.com did contact the hotel and they received no response in seeking compensation. The hotel room was nice but I was disappointed in the experience.

There wasn’t a way to reach the front desk over the phone. I reached a voicemail which was full and unable to accept calls. Generally a nice property but a colleague on the area told me that it was not a safe area for a single person.

The hotel is beautiful and very well designed and decorated. During my stay the room service was not available no working phone unable to use credit card or cash. Only charge to the room. The valet attendants were very polite just not organized with pickups and pricing. Overall I would stay again
