I chose this hotel bc we returned from an overseas trip and wanted to be near Chinatown for late night jetlag hunger. Unfortunately, the stay was extremely disappointing. We were first given #523, but the bed was unmade and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. After a 20+ hr flight, this was the last thing we expected. The front desk was friendly but had to call her boss, Jose, to approve moving us to the 6th floor as it's a premium floor. Even though I booked a room with a jetted tub and #523 didn’t have it. Jose also mentioned no housekeeping for 5th floor on the day of our arrival. Breakfast was another issue. No one told us at check-in that a voucher was needed for breakfast I had to go back to the front desk, where the staff asked about my name, room and how many nights I was at the hotel, even though the system already had the information. The breakfast options were extremely limited, and there was no OJ bc the truck hadn’t arrived. For 2 mornings, each guest had to get their own voucher, causing a line w/only 1 staff working. The biggest concern was a health hazard: guests were expected to reuse the same plate for multiple buffet trips. This may be against Texas food safety standards and poses risks of cross contamination and food borne illness. While our final room was clean, the operational issues, inefficiency, and food safety concerns made this stay far below expectations. Not to mention the interior of the rooms are quite dated.

Staffs were service bad not friendly. Breakfast’s policy is weird, we booked room for 3 people, the staff work in front desk give us breakfast coupon 2. They said the hotel policy for every room only 2 coupons , If you book 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 you’re just received 2. If the room they book 3 children come with their parents how they enjoy breakfast? That’s why we will not come back this hotel again. Sorry.

Location is good. Parking excellent. Greeted by a very friendly staff member upon check in. Good snacks to choose from at FD. Easy check in, quick. Room was good. Shower and water temp a highlight. Good towels. Workout room solid. Breakfast was very good. Disappointing that the bed was well worn and was sleeving in a divet. If your back isn't great like mine, this is problematic. Also, the pool/jacuzzi was closed. Picking this hotel for the jacuzzi was an one of our main reasons. Overall, good stay. Just not good nights sleep nor the hot tub.
