The pool was wonderful, big enough for the adults to swim and safe enough for our five year-old grandson. Our rooms were comfortable and it was amazing to have an air/fan unit that worked perfectly, keeping our room climate controlled. This will be my go to spot to stay when I travel to Houghton. I was very impressed with the room, gym, pool/spa area. Property is very well maintained. My only issue, and I admit, it's probably me being petty. The front desk lady looked like a fishing lure with all the facial piercings she had. I don't normally care about tattoos and piercings but she looked like she should be working at a dollar tree, not a nice hotel front desk.
