Beautiful family-run motel across from the lake. The room was clean and dog-friendly. Carla and Doug were very responsive to our questions. Would stay here again.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
I showed up at 1:10 pm. To find the place deserted. No body available and the office locked. I called the office and no answer. The pictures on line are nothing, zero like what I found the place to look like. What a dump. So I moved on and stayed elsewhere. But they sure were able to charge me 136.71 $ from where ever they were. For a room I wouldn't stay in EVER.

Carla was super nice and accommodating of our delayed check in, and even provided a map of local foods with recommendations! The room was super clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view of Lake Superior right outside our door. 10/10 would stay again.
Sunset right outside our room
Lake Superior is right across the street, with plenty of lawn chairs to view from, and a bonfire pit too!

Great motel. Carla herself checked us in. Had a restaurant next door that burned part of the lobby, but still a great traditional motel.
