Great property

Huge farmhouse in rural area near Bastogne. Lots of good restaurants within 2 miles. Clean and functional. Good communication with management.

Om te beginnen werden er van tevoren weinig instructies gegeven voor aankomst. Een paar uur voordat ik aankwam kregen we te horen dat we iemand moesten bellen, bij aankomst deden we dat maar er werd door zowel dat nummer als het nummer van de verhuurder niet opgenomen. We hebben een kwartier gewacht voordat iemand ons binnenliet. Deze mevrouw was erg aardig tot het moment dat we zeiden dat we met een vriendengroep kwamen en geen familie waren terwijl we dit van tevoren hadden aangegeven. In het huis zelf waren geen badhanddoeken, theedoeken en normale handdoeken aanwezig. We konden dus niet met de hand spullen afwassen en met 14 personen is een vaatwasser al snel vol. Op de trap buiten waren allemaal losliggende stenen waar je zeker in donker over kon vallen als je niet oplette. De BBQ buiten was ook beschimmeld en konden we geen vlees op bakken. Als laatst werd ons van tevoren verteld hoe het afval gescheiden moest worden. Dit hebben wij geprobeerd zo goed mogelijk te doen. Ze had ons uitgelegd dat er 5! verschillende soorten afval gesorteerd moest worden inclusief restafval. Dit hebben wij zo goed mogelijk geprobeerd te doen maar met 14 mensen kun je dit niet perfect doen. Het overgebleven afval paste niet in de vuilniszakken buiten en er was in de buurt geen afvalpunt. Wij hebben de restafvalzakken buiten de prullenbak gezet en kregen achteraf te horen dat we het afval niet goed genoeg hadden gescheiden en dat we een boete ervoor kregen.

Erg naar ons zin gehad. Mooie omgeving om te fietsen. Genoeg ruimte voor een groep van 13 man. Grote gas bbq hebben we dankbaar gebruik van gemaakt. Top weekend.
