This roomy King Suite is located at the Gold Inn in a Bungalow style building with two other units. There is a day bed in the sitting/dining area as you walk in. In the next room is the King bed and TV. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, sink, and mini fridge. The Gold Inn is less than one mile from downtown Hot Springs and Bath House Row. There are hiking and biking trails near by as well as local coffee shops and businesses.

Photos were a bit misleading, but the stay was pleasant and the bed was actually nice! I slept really well. Room was clean. Check in and out was easy. No problems while we were there at all. The main room (with the bed) was large enough to really move around in which was nice. The only thing I would have loved more is if I could have gotten the small fireplace to work. Enjoyed our time away!

The room was clean and cute. However, the room lacked a lot of standard amenities that other VRBO’s offer for the same price point. There was a cute little kitchen but the refrigerator didn’t cool efficiently, there was a pot/pan to cook and some cooking utensils but no silverware. There was a nice sized closet to hang clothes however no hangers. The tv was rather small for the size room and distance from the bed and the internet did not work all the time. There is blue lighting that shines in the windows and even with the curtains closed the room is very bright in the middle of the night. With some basic upgrades this could be a 5 star room for sure.

When we arrived at property the parking was very hard to get to the parking spot for our room due to having to squeeze between to parked cars. Walked in room and the smell of bleach was overwhelming and after a couple hours we left due to getting headaches from the smell. We stayed elsewhere.

Nice

We enjoyed our stay. Perfect location, near downtown, that provided us with ease of access without the extra noise of downtown. Everything was clean and comfortable. The property manager made check in and check out easy. We enjoyed the kitchenette and coffee pot. For us, it was just what we needed. We enjoyed the charm pf the porcelain sink in the kitchenette and tile in the bathroom.

Very comfortable and clean

Neat, clean and comfortable accommodation. Fairly priced for the area. Very short drive to local attractions. it is located in an older neighborhood. We felt safe there. A/C worked great. Little kitchen and bath were super clean. We would definitely stay there again.

The mini split wouldn't come on in the middle of the night. I spent forever trying to get it on and we were hot. I turned the temperature down and it still wouldnt come on.

Appearance of property: run down, poor neighbourhood. Initially cleaner let us in because security lock did not work. Entrance area: outdoor furniture looks old, unused, and dirty. Uncomfortable metallic chairs and tables. Sitting area just outside the front entrance. Dog faeces disposal is right by it! Poor paint job outside, spilt white paint on red porch and poor clean up. Old railings. Area looks most unappealing. Salon: outdoor furniture (metallic) in salon. No comfortable salon furniture, therefore nowhere to sit. Different coloured white paint patches on wall. Kitchen: coffee maker had mould in it. We could not use it. One drawer had plastic fork thrown in it. No organizer, spoons or knives etc. Bathroom: window has been bricked in with opaque brickwork. Extractor did not work. How does the toilet ventilate? No way people can share this bathroom (one person would have to open all the windows to ventilate this bathroom) Poor finishout: door frames/shower. This is the worse VRBO we have stayed in. We will not be back.
