After traveling for 6 hours, I arrive at the property to find it not as described and definitely in a questionable part of town. There were parts of the floor duct taped, there was a terrible moldy smell, there was no off-street parking as described, and to top it off- they forgot to notify me that my reservation was supposed to be canceled due to the property management company unable to reach the owner for unpaid utility bills. The gas had been shut off. So I had to find a last minute place to stay for my family of 7! Luckily, the property management company was very kind, apologetic and eager to help.

The house itself on the inside was very clean and the outside of the house was kind of sketchy. That aside when we went to check in there was a red notice on the front door stating the owners (not the rental company- who had excellent customer service) had not paid the gas bill and the gas had been disconnected and turned off - so no cooking or hot water. I called the contact number who called the owner about this - the owner didn’t respond. Then point of contact attempted to pay the bill himself but was unsuccessful since it was a Saturday and a holiday weekend and didn’t have their account number for the gas company. I was then passed on to the rental company who attempted to contact the owner as well but was unsuccessful and eventually reached out to Expedia to issue a refund.
