If you book lake view from hotels.com . You will not get it . Front desk have their own reasons to justify not to give lake view rooms.

Lecture at checkin

Got a lecture at check in for no reason about not bringing your own alcohol to the lobby which made sense because one glass of cheap wine was $18. My husband went to get coffee in the lobby in the morning and they shouted at him that there was a fee for it which he was happy to pay. Overall staff needs some customer service training. On the other hand shout out to the cleaning staff who had everything immaculate.

Found silk warms crawling in the shower and the walls. The only handicap room with a balcony was on the 1st floor with a view of the freeway. The staff did let us get in a room early, but was not happy about it. They have a bar and restaurant with one server having to make drinks and serving food. Surprise if she was cooking as well.

I'm not sure where the issue lies, Doubletree or Expedia's glorified false advertising. The pictures on the Expedia definitely depict a nice modern hotel. The hotel is clean, quiet and the employees were nice aside from listening to the housekeeping arguing how they weren't going to break parole and taking a peaceful morning balcony sit to a Jerry Springer show. This place has no coffee in the lobby. The rooms are small to be considered a suite. There is NO breakfast included (No, not even a stale donut you can even find a a crack house weekly rental). There is how ever a restaurant downstairs that is open limited hours with an limited menu paired with excessively high prices. Don't have them deliver it to your room because they'll charge you another 18% on top of your $190 omelet. The low quality water bottle in the room is also $3 a bottle, beware on that. If you think the dock is nice you should enjoy it from afar because that's going to cost you an additional $150 just to use even when bringing your own vessel. The Hotel is median but the price is way to high for what they offer. That being said it matches Hot Springs perfectly. Low quality crap for extreme pricing. The staff was great but I left feeling like I paid $500 for a McDouble. Ho to a different hotel.....and destination if you don't want buyers remorse

I reserved a room with a balcony and didnt get it. Lady who checked us in was very rude and acted like she didnt like her job. Will never stay at that hotel again.
