"The hotel recently restocked the gym with all new technogym equipment which is great. It a great space on the roof - used to have old, poorly maintained equipment. Big and meaningful improvement."

"A really nice way to start and end a trip in Namibia. Especially good if you like beautiful gardens and interesting birds - it was full of rosy-faced lovebirds (a parrot), woodpeckers, loeries, babblers and more. Everything about Etango is excellent. Airport pick up was organised in advance. The rooms are great, with air con and nice facilities. The pool is well looked after. The food was wonderful - four courses, each delicious and high quality. When arriving back from my motorcycle ride around Namibia, I was too late for lunch, but one of the ladies made a lovely greek salad for me. And then I was driven to the airport at 6.30 in the morning. That was before breakfast started, so they gave me a packed breakfast. If you have time, it is definitely worth staying for more than a day at the start of a Namibia tour, as it is a great place to acclimatise and relax."

"River Crossing Lodge is a rest for your soul. Magnificent views, excellent food, nice and comfortable rooms. I enjoyed the firm bed and the option to book with their mouth-watering dinner included. I enjoyed walking around on the property and would highly recommend if you are in the area."

"Habitas Namibia is a wonderful camp surrounded by expansive and awe inspiring views of the Kalahari. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful. The daily changing food menu is good quality and prepared to a high standard. Wonderful morning and evening game drives were a great time whilst learning about the land and animal behaviours. We had a series of sightings of lions, rhinos, elephants, giraffes, and more. The wood framed tents are spacious and well equipped, with comfy beds, aircon and hot water. It’s all well designed, simple and in harmony with the surroundings. Having been to many safari camps across the continent, this one comes across as very well managed. A place to come and enjoy peace in nature. "

"Great location for the airport. The team were really friendly and helpful. The room was really comfortable with a massive bed! The menu choice was excellent. It ticked all the boxes. I’ll definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Namibia "

"A hotel that struggles to be boutique and luxury and ends up feeling more like an upmarket airport layover. Not helped by booking 11 of 15 rooms out to a tour party. A take over where the pool lobby and restaurant were set up for them. Operations manager who was new to the job did offer a table for dinner in the reception lobby but not really where we wanted dinner. Waited 45 minutes next morning for coffee and eventually some croissants- then had to leave. Senior management who we were informed were there never appeared or came near us. As one couple who left the day before us said - glad we are leaving. Maybe the hotel can look at &Beyond and Wilderness for an idea on service. Still waiting any contact from the hotel/hotel group."
