A really lovely hotel. Our room was really nice, the bed was so comfortable. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The traditional breakfast was one of the best we have had. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend

Originally from Horncastle now living in the USA, The Rodney is always where we stay when visiting. The staff are so friendly and the food is really great, especially the breakfast, such a nice selection. My only suggestion is that they need to put a small fridge in the rooms, apart from that, love the place!!!!

We stay at this hotel 2-3 times a year as it's handy for visiting family. The staff are always welcoming and the rooms comfortable. The only thing we find is a regular issue is that there is always at least one item not available on the evening meal menu and this time is was more than one, which was a little frustrating. However, the food was of a good standard and the breakfasts are always excellent. Despite the warm weather, the room was fairly cool, so we were able to get a comfortable night's sleep.

Charming hotel, helpful staff. Town centre location with parking at the back. Lovely coffee shop (No. 8) opposite and a great burger place (Franco's) a few minutes walk away if you want to eat somewhere else. Hotel's bar well run and stocked.
