Not suitable as a holiday home

It felt as if the owners of this house had just moved out so we could rent it for the week. The wardrobes and drawers were full of other peoples belongings and there were brushes and make up and toiletries in the bathroom. The gas didn't work and so we could not cook and there was no kettle for making tea. There was no hot water in the bathroom so only cold showers and baths. The pool was dirty and covered with a layer of scum although the owner insisted it was clean. We were so disappointed we left after only one night. We felt it would ruin our holiday if we stayed any longer. I do not recommend you rent this property.
