Bed was uncomfortable and squeaky!! Also the most frustrating thing was that we had an early flight but there was no hot water in the shower. Imagine my surprise. How can a hotel not have hot water!!!

Breakfast was lovely and hot, I was not too keen on black pudding which i felt was quite tasteless. Lovely warm croissants, pain au chocolat and raisin pastries. Very disappointed with bedroom, bed was too small, only a standard double and duvet was far too heavy. The basin in bathroom was dreadful with a huge crack across it

Excellent place to stay for a night if you arrive from the airport late or have to leave early in the morning. There is a shuttle bus for about £8 for a return ticket or £4.50’ish for one way. You can pay with your credit card on the bus. Shuttle pick up and drop of location was sent by e mail when I booked . Staff were friendly and courteous. I would return for sure.
My last British Fish & Chips with mushy peas meal at the Holiday Inn restaurant.

I booked as part of a medical emergency journey home and, as happens in that kind of situation, had to adjust plans. I reached out to the hotel within 24 hours of making the booking to plead for a cancellation fee waiver and they simply never responded. Hotels.com continued to do so on my behalf for several days too - nothing. Hard to imagine a stay under this management would be anything but austere. Good luck.

We had to change rooms three times and pay an upgrade for a habitable room. All rooms had dirty carpets and are in need of a complete remodel. The bathroom was tiny and had a bath shower combo requiring a 2.5 foot barrier for entry. We travel extensively and stay at 50 hotels each year we are IHG prime members and Expedia gold members. This hotel is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in it is pure hotel hell. It makes Motel 6 look like the Waldorf Astoria. Stay away
