An older charming building built in 1968. Pool area is romantic with a lava shower and a bar/restaurant area This is a small 210 sq ft. cozy apartment located in the boutique Bamboo Hotel on Kuhio Avenue centrally located one block from beach.
Nice tropical oasis water fall, pool, hot tub and shower.. It is on the twelfth floor with a spectacular west vista of Waikiki and the mountains Open lanai for dining at sunset . Outdoor laundry room is adjacent.

Lava themed hot tub and water pool lava shower restaurant bar area.
It is all very lavish. Total revamp upstairs in the space and restaurant and pool area. as with any swimming pool, please expect certain unexpected closures because of maintenance.

This space has great views and is up quiet from city noise, beautiful city views from the Lanai

Mgmt. entered property without permission

Very dirty was told to wash my dirty sheets and buy my toilet paper he did bring once was there almo2 weeks. Entered room twice that I know of without permission once I was getting undressed in the bathroom and there was a knock on the door, so I hurried and put my top back on and was pulling up my pants as he was entering the room his worker whoever it was I’m sharing photos rundown dirty place

Dirt on headboard
Mattress cover was nasty

Not clean

Unit does not meet basic cleanliness standards. Run down and dirty. Dust and dirt in all the corners. Would not stay again for this reason. The building itself is older but seemed ok. The pool area is nice and the location is great, just two blocks from the beach.

Thought I had booked a room in a hotel not a private apartment in an hotel. the room was very small, there was not a comfortable chair to rest in only a table and chair and the bed, missing an ice bucket, no vending machines for cold drinks and most hotels that we have stayed in previously have had some sort of contintental breakfast. We were totally unprepared for this. We went to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We did enjoy our time outside the hotel. Hotel employees were courteous. Don't know what a hotel room looked liked? One ice machine for 12 floors - we were on 12.

Great Location but Rundown and Smelly

We knew going in the unit would be small with no view. The hotel where the unit was located had seen better days but the small pool was nicely landscaped with shade. The washing machine on our floor was not working and one of the elevators was down for for much of our stay. While the bed and toilet were clean, the air conditioning filter was caked with grime and made the whole place smell musty. There were cracks in the walls and dirt in the corners. We would not rent this location again.

Perfect place for two

Bed was comfortable and there was a great selection of channels on tv. The pool was beautiful and location was stellar. So many dining options just a short walk away. The walk to Waikiki was quick and painless. It was a bonus being able to use the Tommy Bahama chairs. Our only two wishes were that there was another chair on the lanai, and noticed a bit of a smell coming from the corner of the room where the air conditioner is located. Otherwise, this unit was perfect for the two of us.

Great affordable stay in Waikiki

The property is in a great location near many restaurants and close to the beach.The property is a bit dated but clean. If you do not require hotel services like room cleaning this is a great affordable option.The washing machine on our floor would not accept our any of our credit cards and I notified the front desk so I hope they will get that fixed soon.The neighborhood was quiet at night although there is a penthouse apartment above us and we could hear the sound of chairs moving around day and night.
