Hotel is getting very dated. Guests' luggage were all over the check-in lobby. Front desk staffs were very efficient and helpful. Room is clean but furnishings are just too out-dated. There was no power outlet next to the bed so I had to ask for a power strip from hose keeping. They delivered the item to the room within ten minutes.

The hotel was beautiful and welcoming in the reception areas. Our room was clean, but very tired and dated. The swimming pool was inaccessible and the gym was very run down. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, the staff were very helpful and the hotel is really convenient for local transport to national parks.

Probably my worst hotel stay ever. Got the executive suite but nothing was executive nor special about it especially the service. First during check in we were given a paper of the privileges but staff didn’t explain anything and just said check out 12pm. So we read the letter to us and asked to extend to later check out. The guy on the phone then proceeded to say that we have to get the key cards re validated. So we did as told and went to the counter where we were told it was not necessary but gave us new cards anyway and told us it was noted that we were checking out at 330pm. 2pm on check out day, our key cards didn’t work and I couldn’t get into the room. When I went down to concierge to check, instead of checking and clarifying, staff just shouted check out is at 12. I said I have the suite and I already extended check out which was within what you as Regal Hongkong offered me. Then said the key cards will always fail. Then why did your staff tell me actually I didn’t need to validate again and worse issue me new cards that still didn’t fix the issue. I did not appreciate the tone of the staff at all. Rude and condescending. Breakfast was also a joke. But this alone would make me rate this the worst hotel ever I cannot even imagine the regular rooms. Please DO NOT stay here.

The hotel was clearly excellent in its heyday, the pool and executive club is great. But the rooms could do with no carpet and we lost my daughters favourite toy during room cleaning service. She had it out on the bed and it was a white bunny, so we understand. But wasn’t great.
