The home fits our family of 12 nicely, we've stayed previously. The outdoor furniture is very uncomfortable. The cushions are past their prime. There were Gnats and spiders on the patio, and we were unable to use it as they got active everyday. The windows are covered in spider webs. Disgusting

The house was smaller than expected, superficially mostly clean, however I spent much of Saturday cleaning corner and ceiling fan spider webs. I also had to vacuum the drawers, as they were dirty with crumbs and debris. We have 2 members with Celiac. The lake was not useable all but 1/2 day when it was too cold to support the green algae growth. I sent a message but all that was done was to remove the dead fish. The algae was horrible and beach was smelly so we didn't even use the fireplace. They advertise a game room. It looks nice in the picture. It was filthy.

Annual lake vacation

The property was well kept and well situated. Unfortunately the weather was not good so we lost several days to the effects of a tropical storm. Also the marina opened at 9:00 instead of earlier which would have been more convenient. The property had a nice dock and a great view of the lake.

2024 Family Lake Trip

We were very impressed with this property. It had great water access, for swimming, fishing, boating etc. The kids and adults enjoyed the boat house/game room. Our only issue was a question about the garbage, there was overflowing cans when we got there. I called maintenance and it was picked up, but the recycle was not. The directions said garbage day was Thursday , but nothing was picked up, so the people after us will be stuck with our garbage. But everything else was great, the little ones loved being close to the park for swings and climbing toys. I walked the Nature Trail every morning to start my day.

Amazing place

We had a wonderful time staying at this property with our extended family for my son's graduation. The house is clean, lovely, and perfectly suited for a larger group. We enjoyed the lakeview, the firepit and the quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended!

Vacation Extraordinaire

North Star was lovely well maintained. With two bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs, it provided convenience and privacy. The house is situated on the beautiful Honeoye Lake and next to a park with a walking trail into the town containing shops and restaurants. We definitely will book another vacation at North Star.

Family Weekend

This property is perfect to bring family together. The house is spacious, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the house is stocked with everything you need for a weekend of family fun. The kitchen has every thing you need to cook as a family and the dining room does seat 12 comfortably. The game room in the garage is fun for the whole family. The view, nature walks, and animal sights kept us entertained. This is our second time this year in this house and we can’t wait to go back.

Family Ice Fishing Trip

Aside from the bad luck of no ice, our family ice fishing trip was perfect in regards to the house. Parking and access was ideal even for the older folks, and the layout of the house was perfect for our group and our interests.

Great Space

Overall this place ticked all of our boxes. There was enough room for 12 of us, there were many areas to hang out (all with great views of the lake), and the boathouse with it's amenities was perfect. We liked being near to the beach and the pickle ball court and the short nature hike to main street. There was a lot of grass in the entire lake so in my opinion not great swimming - but the house met all of our expectations and the host was awesome.

We had a wonderful time, slept 12 people for a night. We had our jet skis and rented a boat so the dock was perfect. We all had a fire every night and cooked s’mores, hobo pies,etc, star watched and met a friendly heron we named Hank. We’d all love to go back next year.

Beautiful Location

Property was beautiful and had something for each of us with the boating, fishing, playground and beach a short walk away. Great to have a washer & dryer on premise to wash towels etc. Our family loved the pool table, pac-man game , air hockey, etc that was located in the garage-nice on rainy days and in the evening. .Only problem we encountered was the garbage pickup. Both totes were full when we arrived and thank goodness pickup was on Tuesday and not the Thursday listed on our packet. Hope to stay again.

Beautiful lake view

This was a nice house and location. Very clean, nicely decorated, well stocked. Porch and fire pit area great places to relax. Nice location near a beach and walking trail. Cool game garage. Going through Finger Lakes Premier properties was very confusing. Our air conditioning and hot water didn't work upon arrival. We couldn't use the kitchen for the first night because of the heat. There were many emails, phone numbers, contacts to communicate with. After sending numerous messages, I was recommended not to use the VRBO app when they responses the next day. Our solutions were resolved, but I wanted to give other renters a heads up that going through this rental company is a different experience.

Family Event-80th birthday celebration

Everything was as advertised. The home was clean, beautifully furnished and spacious. Being waterfront was great. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards etc., fire pit and game room. It exceeded our expectations.
