We are less than one mile into town for shopping and dining, Homosassa's wildlife park, boat ramps, world class fishing, Crystal River and much are located less than 10 minutes away. There is plenty of parking for, your R.V., boats and trailer.

Had a blast at the mermaid house!

Great place to stay with family. We enjoyed our time on the river. Kayaks were a huge bonus. Kids enjoyed the fishing. Clean place, easy communication with owner. A great little place to get away from it all and relax. ❤🛶🎣🌞

This was the perfect home in a great central location for our group of kayakers.

We were able to easily reach all 6 creeks/rivers for day long kayaking trips from The Mermaid. This home was very clean and the owner was very quick to answer any questions. We will be back!

So clean and comfortable

We absolutely loved our peaceful stay here. The house was adorable and absolutely perfect. Everything you need is in the house. As well as fishing and kyacks our back. We will always stay here when we come in town. You won’t regret your stay here.
