We had a lovely time at the Pheasant Hotel, the staff were very hard working, could not do any more to make our stay relaxing, happy smiling staff, the hotel was on a country lane so very quite, food was delicious ,room was good, quiet, view was just of the grass bank, but we were only in the room to sleep. In a good position to explore all of the coast line, which was just beautiful .We would happily go back to this hotel.

We had a lovely 3 days in the ‘Keepers Hut’ being off grid ( no internet in the hut) it was beautifully decorated, cosy comfortable bed, with a luxurious roll top bath and powerful shower. We were given a fan as the weather was extra hot which was helpful. The hotel breakfast and dinner were both excellent, as were the staff and dining areas. We enjoyed it so much, we have booked to come back.

Had a lovely two night stay . Very tranquil. Hotel very clean.All staff from receptionists to bar and restaurant workers and cleaners did a wonderful job . Very convenient hotel as near some lovely areas in Norfolk .Sunday roasts are very good ! Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking to explore Norfolk .

Lovely hotel in a great location. Staff fantastic and hugely personable. Very helpful indeed. Cooked breakfast was fab and restaurant staff were delightful. Continental offerings were a little lacking on the pastries front. We never had dinner at the hotel but the Sunday roast did smell delicious and looked the part!! Bar staff were great, really friendly and good service offered. Garden area was lovely in the sun. Everything here was really good except the matress which had absolutely no minerals to it whatsoever. I could liken it to a bouncy castle which had 75% of the air let out of it. No support whatsoever so needs fast improvement here. Everything else spot on!

Superior room good. Bar man good. Unfortunate about the refurbishments restricting areas. However the prevalence of dogs in the restaurant area and in the bar was really off putting. Not only the barking but one or two dogs were really smally and this purveyed the bar and restaurant. So much so we had to move to the back of the bar lounge to get some respite. Not good for someone like myself who is allergic to furry animals. Cannot understand why people need to come out for the evening for 1.5hrs and bring the dog. Just leave it at home or in the car, they are not your children, they are animals. next time I will bring my pet pig. But you encourage this as dog friendly. Hope that brings success for you as I will not be back.

Pretty Property on Lovely Grounds

The hotel is about half a mile or so off the coast and it's nestled in its own grounds across the road from some nice public paths with beach access. The hotel is in lovely shape, and been decorated very tastefully throughout. Our large bed was very comfortable, and the room's client controls were easy to use. We had a nice shower, but if I booked again and had the option of a room with a full bath, I'd request it. Bar, Orangery and Dining Room had high standards, and a good selection of wine and local beer. Breakfast was cooked to order and included offerings from Cley Smoke House, which I highly recommend. I'd have preferred a slightly later check out, but otherwise the hotel was a nice find.
