Only complaint is the listing says that there is a bathtub in the room and there is not one. Room small but comfy, nice patio area and quick walk to beach.

It was overall wonderful experience. We just didn't read the instruction that checking in is in a different address and there's no microwave (we just assume that there is available). Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay. Manatee beach is walking distance. We even saw dolphins.

The property is very clean and newly renovated. We liked their bathroom very nice. The only problem is they don’t have microwave, i hope they should place one, it’s very important especially for a family with kids. Otherwise, I would love to stay again as long as they keep their price.

Due to the fact that the renovations were not completed, we did NOT stay at the Driftwood Inn. In addition, we were not notified of this until I called. Yes, we were upgraded, however it would have been nicer had Expedia communicated this change. I had messaged Expedia in the morning of our arrival and no response. I called Expedia and spoke with Mitch about an hour before arrival. Communication was not what we expected.

We had no TV, no Internet, I had the service men out 5 times before it was fixed at 10ish the night before we left. Personally I feel in this day we should have both without question, or move us to a different room since we were told our room was the only one without.

It was nice and comfortable I wouldn’t stay more than a night because there was a moldy smell it wasn’t unbearable but k don’t think will Be safe for more than one night. Also we got bit a lot from bugs outside when we were in the pool even in the daytime so couldn’t enjoy the pool much. Everything was extremely clean and organized though

Check in was ok, although you did it at a different location and there was no one on the premises to assist you with anything. Late afternoon there was a terrible storm and the roof in the bathroom, which was very small, started leaking. Water was dripping out of the vent. You could not stand by the sink without getting wet. When I called to report it I had to leave a message. Finally someone responded, by text message, that they would report it to maintenance. Meanwhile, we are watching out the window water flooding up to the units next to us and water covering the doors. The streets on both sides of us were flooded. Then the internet/TV went out the entire evening and wasn't working the next morning. The air conditioner was extremely noisy. I understand you cannot control the weather but my issue is that NO ONE ever called to check on us. Our room could have flooded but they wouldn't even know.

average...Check-in is a couple miles away... It was not easy to contact the management by phone- called many many times, no answer, I was called at some point, was told its weird, the phones are working. I dialed the numbers I was given. I received the text to let me know the room was ready an hour prior to check-in time, I called for help, got a text saying the room is guarantied by 4pm which did not make sense as they had already sent me a text letting me know it was ready and I had the code to enter. its a small place with 7 or 8 rooms, they were putting new mattresses, new fridges, left one fridge in the sitting area the whole week. The kitchen sink water pressure was terrible, I washed the dishes in the bathroom. no batteries in the fan remote control, went to buy a batterie so I could stop the fan, the housekeeping was very sweet, daily housekeeping means new towels, my bed was made and trash taken out. The kitchen area did not get touched. the area is easy access to get everywhere on the island which is a great location for shopping, eating and close to any beach. However, I dont think I would stay there again.
