I booked this house for a short trip for my daughter's 16th birthday. It was perfect for our family of 5 plus 2 of her friends. Being dog friendly was also a big plus as ours vacation with us! It's a short walk to the beach and far enough away from the main hub of surf city. Neighborhood is quiet and off the main road. Will definitely rent again for future trips as we frequent topsail

Wythe a Hint of Lime

When we arrived, it appeared that only bed linens had been changed and bathrooms cleaned. Sand and dried food was on the table, kitchen counters and side cart. The laminate floors were very dirty and had a lot of sand on them. We found dirty underwear under one bed and beside the dryer. The coffee pot was broken and leaked constantly and the outlet in the master bath did not work.The loveseat in the sitting area could not be used by anyone. It is worn out and very uncomfortable. Finally, the 20 steep steps to go in and out of the house and the three block walk to the beach is not ideal for senior adults. We were very disappointed and will not be back.

Cozy, Close to Beach

Overall a great stay. The proximity to the beach is a huge plus, and it's far enough down the beach from the heavily used areas that it's not crowded at all. The fact that we were able to get such a large, reasonably priced house so late was astounding. I have no complaints about any of the substantive aspects of the home. However, a few minor notes: 1. Some of the doors do not close without using a lot force. 2. The handle of the storm door in the main entrance falls off. 3. The dishwasher runs perfectly fine, but the display is a little messed up. One recommendation I would make is to allow for early check or late check out. Would have gladly paid for either of those options, especially since we went to the beach the day we checked out.

Lovely pet friendly home. Perfect kitchen with all necessary utensils (including a steamer for shrimp and lobster) Location is fantastic. We have family with grandkids and pets. It was an awesome home!
