The beach access is completely rebuilt and ready for your family to use! This large four-bedroom home is located in Surf City and is only a short distance from many restaurants and shopping. This home is direct oceanfront with three bedrooms on the first floor that are also direct oceanfront. The fourth bedroom is on the top floor, sound side. The home features two large oceanfront decks and has direct access to the beach from both decks. Enjoy the spacious living area on the second floor with a nearby wet bar - feel free to prepare sweet and refreshing cocktails or mocktails for the group. This space is wide open and great for large groups. Additional amenities include free WiFi and Internet, an enclosed outside shower, and a washer/dryer on-site.

House was beautiful and had three bedrooms with an ocean view. Rear deck was spacious with comfortable furniture and great view of the ocean. Location was great with easy access to stores and restaurants. Will stay here again.

The beach front home was excellent, close to surf city shops, but still semi private beach. The home needs updates to things like cabinets and flooring, but those did not affect our stay. The kitchen was well stocked, and we cooked most of our meals.

We loved the location. The beach in front of us was never crowded, and the views from both the front and back of the house are lovely! The house is tastefully furnished with comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out in the main living room. The bathrooms were perfect size for our family. The decor was sparse, but we liked that. It gave us room to store our things. There was even room to put pantry items in the kitchen! Overall it was a lovely place to stay for our family beach vacation. The cons: the kitchen was not fully stocked for our seven travelers. Although I was told by Vacasa (the management company) that the kitchen had everything we needed, it was missing the following basic items: a measuring cup, oven mitts, cutting board, and baking sheets. Additionally, there were only two regular wineglasses (they had three champagne flutes) and the kitchen was light on the amount of silverware. We had to wash as we used it to have enough for each meal. We had to go out a purchase items that we needed to make our meals. We certainly made do, but wish we had known ahead of time what the kitchen was missing so that we could bring what we needed. I wish Vacasa had better knowledge of what the house has and doesn’t have.

Sandcastle Sunrise is a nice, big house in a spectacular location – right on a quiet beach, but less than a mile from bustling downtown Surf City, with its restaurants, shopping, activities, pier, etc. We liked the big, well-equipped decks and big windows. But it seems that a house this pricey ought to be better supplied. It would be nice to have enough knives and forks for the nine people this house is supposed to sleep. It would be nice to have more than two wine glasses. A few basic spices like cinnamon could fit in the large cabinets. And it would be nice to have a few simple beach chairs. The sad thing is that if the owner spent about half of one day’s rent it could make this house truly five-star. BTW, management company did a good job of getting repairman out quickly when A/C didn’t work the first day – and again the second day after it failed again. The company also did a quick job resolving a big trash emergency.

Six adult family members stayed for a week and we absolutely LOVED this property. We were pleased with everything about it. The beds were comfortable there was adequate seating in the living area and dining table for all of us. Great amenities and all the basic necessities we could need. The view from the living area was absolutely fabulous and we spent quite a lot of time sitting on the deck visiting and watching the beautiful ocean only a few steps away. Will go back again!

Gorgeous views!

Last week might be one of our favorite NC beach vacations yet:) This house was perfect for our family with plenty of space. We loved the open floor plan on the top level with windows in every directions and comfortable seating for all. The top floor deck was our favorite- with tall seating that offered uninterupted views of the ocean even for short people like me! The doggie deck gate was awesome for our two pups to have some safe freedom while we enjoyed coffee or wine. This property has wild cactus in the green areas, so be careful if you bring a dog. We'd never experienced this at the beach before and it can be sneaky so watch your own toes and your pups'!

Love it

This property is beyond amazing. The view, it don't matter where you are in the house you will see the ocean. I have a disable 19 year old and the beach is his happy place, we did not want to come back home. I extremely recommend this property. Thank you for sharing with me and my family you lovely home.
