This review mostly stems in relation to the owners/property manager. Check in time for the property was 4PM. We arrived right around then & noticed the house was warm. The AC was set to 75 but the house was 79 degrees. My husband noticed right away that the propeller in the AC unit was not spinning, and the fan was blowing hot air into the home. We have two young children who we had to put to bed relatively early. Around 10PM on the first night, both kids were up crying it was so hot in their rooms. It was 84 degrees in the house. I texted the property manager saying I thought something was wrong with the AC unit & could they please send someone to check it. None of us slept that night….I followed up again with the property manager the next morning, and received a response a few hours later stating they would submit a ticket to have someone come look at it…no details on the timeframe, no offer to move us to another Vacasa managed property, nothing. We waited all day long, it was 89 degrees in the house & no update. I had to text the manager again around 6PM requesting an update as we needed to put our kids to bed again soon. No response, but luckily a tech showed up around 7:30PM and identified the capacitor in the unit was out & replaced it. It took till around midnight, but it started to cool off inside. We were pretty disappointed at the lack of communication from the property manager & the lack of them offering a discounted rate, refund, or alternative accommodations.
